Hello! Les Coches d’Eau. From one of the stations at the Port de Plaisance served from the Main Dock, board the Les Coches d’Eau shuttle boats to make your journey easier.
Les Coches d’Eau take you across the calm waters of the Mediterranean within the port area, aboard a friendly boat. Convenient, easy, and comfortable, the boats of Les Coches d’Eau help you avoid heavy traffic and get closer to your point of interest.
9 strategically located stations are served every 20 minutes within the Port de Plaisance area of Cap d’Agde. Tickets are available at the Main Dock or directly on board the boats with the hostesses.

Amateurs of games, carousel and other sensational activities, night time shuttles are tailored for you. From the main pier embark on one of the shuttles which will drop you to the most famous night entertainment gates : Clubs, restaurants, pubs, Luna Park’s attractions, Dino Park and Mini-golf. The Coches d’Eau crew is happy to host ORGANIZED GROUPS so that they enjoy all the benefits of a promenade on water, with commentary provided on board the boat. It’s an exceptional promenade in the Mediterranean, within the Cap d’Agde’s marina, with comfort guaranteed. During this superb outing, views that cannot be seen from land are to be discovered from the calm water, at a leisurely pace. The history of the marina and its seaside resort is fascinating. Off Port Richelieu, Fort Brescou points far into the distance with its lighthouse’s beacon and is thus immortalized.
The environment is conducive to letting your imagination run wild as you pass large yachts and marinas with famous residents… Here, a top up of positive energy is guaranteed, thanks to the sea air and the microclimate of Agde’s coast.

Les Coches d’Eau :
Your travel are eased for 45 years now !
Les Coches d’Eau settled in Cap d’Agde marina in 1975 where is currently the main dock.
The first boat with a 14 passengers capacity is celebrated. With the growing Cap d’Agde renown, more and more visitors are attracted. Secondary resident as well as regular habitants already appreciate the easy-of-use boat in order to get in a few minutes to their destination.
In the early 90s, a newer and more spacious boat replaced the historical boat for the happiness of tourists. It has a capacity of 50 persons.
It was in 2006, that two additional ships widened the Coches d’Eau fleet. With elegant and modern lines, Les Coches d’Eau are enhanced with aluminum composition. Comfortable, they can now transport up to 170 passengers.
In 2020, Les Coches d’Eau has been fully renovated.
-New iron structure situated on the main pier as well as the 12 gates dispatched in the harbour have been changed.
-New modern and global design in order to spread a more current image of Les Coches d’Eau.
– Services for the public retought for greater clarity.
-The creation of communication tools to bring a stronger visibility in the leasure harbour.
After 45 years facing the aggressive marine winds, burning sun and the several changes in temperature, a new lifting became mandatory, on the three boats !
Coches d’Eau users are glad to use our boats to avoid traffic jam but also because it eases the transportation from one place to another and to enjoy a maritime stroll in the leasure harbour. Regulars like to do over and over strolls aboard the Coches d’Eau each year in family. Sea breeze, beach mood, breathtaking landscape unseeable from land, summer micro-climate, blue sky reflecting in the sea,friendliness… all of this mixed on board to give to our users a true moment of happiness. That is the mission that is fulfilled every season by the Coches d’Eau crew.

CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility
Currently in the process of obtaining the Quality Tourism label, the company Les Coches d’Eau is committed to the success of an CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) approach adapted to its seasonal tourist activity.
Established in Cap d’Agde since 1975, a change of ownership occurred in 2019. Les Coches d’Eau then renewed all the aging public gantries that signal the pontoons. Clear information on services and fees adapted to each individual is now available everywhere, with full transparency.
Part of the staff continues the summer adventure aboard the boats since the start of the company. Regular updates are exchanged on the company’s development. Friendly moments punctuate each end of seasons.
The harsh marine environment leads us to organize repairs and anticipate breakdowns during the high season with certain spare mechanical parts, allowing for quick repairs to the boats and minimizing disruptions to the services offered.
During the high season, at a time when the use of automobiles is almost impossible, Les Coches d’Eau boats encourage sustainable mobility by transporting passengers from one point to another in the Marina, with subscriptions open to all.
Since the change of management, both the boats and gantries are cleaned with biodegradable washing products.
Unable to install bins or ashtrays on the quay, we have a small container on the boat to collect items such as ice cream wrappers or paper towels, immediately sorted and disposed of in nearby public containers.
